The 13th Annual Earth Day Celebration in Townsend will be held at the Townsend Common, routes 119 and 13 on Saturday, April 21st, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rain date is Sunday April 22nd, noon to 4 p.m.

North End Subaru Recycle and Repurpose:
Here's how it will work: TerraCycle will provide custom printed boxes for us to collect these specific items. Once the boxes are full they're shipped to TerraCycle who then makes permanent products out of them such as benches, playground equipment and tables. How cool is that! https://www.********.***/

The specific items collected at the event and at North End Subaru all year will be:

coffee/tea capsules (Like K-Cups)
disposable coffee cups/lids
snack wrapper/bags (like Baggies)

TerraCycle, is a company reducing waste by finding innovative uses for materials others deem garbage. The materials are upcycled into affordable, high-quality products.
