| Description: | From 31st Annual Sheepshearing Festival Website: This will be our 31st year of Sheepshearing!
$20 adults, Free for children 12 and under and Gore Place Members. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets available at the gates on the day.
Our festival features both traditional manual blade sheep shearing and electric sheep shearing. Sheep fleeces are collected and later sold. Our merino sheep are sheared the traditional way and other sheep are brought in for the electric shearing.
Our fiber tent area offers dozens of fiber artists specializing in wool yarn, roving, knitting kits, and finished wool products. Some even bring animals or special demonstrations.
Our crafter area has 76 booths with artisans selling handmade candles, birdhouses, jewelry, metalwork, pottery, and more!
