Description: | With hundreds of participants and thousands in attendance (last year's attendance approached 10,000), the sheep shearing at Gore Place continues to be one of the region's finest festivals. Those attending can not only watch demonstrations of sheep shearing and herding dogs, but they can shop in one of the region's biggest and best craft fairs. Music, historic re-enactors, wagon ride, food vendors, free parking. Admission is $20, ages 12 and under and members free. | ||

Directions: Gore Place is located at 52 Gore Street in Waltham, Massachusetts just off Route 20. From I-90 (Mass Pike) take exit 17 to Watertown Square. Turn left onto Route 20 (Main Street). Travel 1~1/4 miles to Gore Street. From Route 128/I-95 exit 26 to Route 20 east (Main Street) 3~1/2 miles to Gore Street. |
