About The Berkshire Crafts Fair
The Berkshire Crafts Fair opened to the public for the first time on August 2, 1974. The creation of several teachers at Monument Mountain Regional High School, the Crafts Fair, as it is known in school, was designed to provide revenue for programs and facilities for the students of the high school.

Since its inception, hundreds of students along with faculty have been responsible for the organization and operation of this annual fair. It has gained a reputation among the artisans who have exhibited as a well organized, professionally run event. A wide range of high quality contemporary and traditional works selected through a jurying process has earned the Berkshire Crafts Fair its respected and valued reputation. MMRHS sophomores and all faculty will arrive to school in September having read the same book and embarking on a new school year with a shared experience and one more gateway to communicate about relevant and meaningful topics.

The Mountainside Pre-School program, run by MMRHS faculty and students, sports a brand new playground. The MMRHS Student Center is used for luncheons, dinners, meetings and gatherings involving students, faculty and community. The MMRHS School Store, operated by our Life Skills faculty and students, has been remodeled. Student ambassadorships and scholarships, faculty initiatives and professional development, school facilities and programs all have been and continue to be funded because of the annual Berkshire Crafts Fair.
