The annual Experience Gardner Festival & Sidewalk Sale is one of Gardner's biggest events. For two days, during the specified hours, the downtown area is converted to a street fair featuring community exhibits and demonstrations, performing artists, the area's largest game of Musical Chairs, a Beach Party on Parker Street, Kid's Games, and more. Local retail shops, businesses, and organizations, and outside vendors feature their merchandise out on the streets.
