| Description: | MELROSE ARTS FESTIVAL...APRIL 16-18, 2010 MACA (Melrose Arts and Cultural Association) will hold its annual Arts Festival April 16-18, 2010 at Memorial Hall in Melrose. The three day Festival is a juried show and features original fine art and fine craft by over 40 exhbitors who will display their own works. The Arts Festival presents local Melrose artists as well as artists from surrounding areas. Show hours are Friday April 16: 7:00-10PM, Saturday April 17: 11AM to 8PM, and Sunday April 18: 11AM to 5PM. The Melrose Arts Festival includes live musical entertainment throughout the weekend, with food and drink available for purchase. Memorial Hall is an extremely attractive historic Melrose Landmark, centrally located and easily accessed by public transportation. Based on past experience, almost 2000 visitors are expected to attend this free public event. The Melrose Arts Festival, now in it 5th year, has become eagerly anticipated in the community and there will be very extensive local and regional advertising, including Boston and Cambridge.
